I would like to know because I have a 99 GSR with a DC DAC Intake and I was wondering if it would work with or fit with an Icebox. You see the DC's intake pipe has a weird design/bend in it and I dont know if it would even line up close enough(it does not in comparison to where the stock box would be, but it might with the icebox which I think includes some other flex-tube like hardware). So if anyone has ever seen this set-up before and could let me know(any details?) then I would really appreciate it. Thanks ahead of time.

it won't fit

 

I currently run a dc short ram and a comptech icebox and it works fine however i have a s2im and the dc short ram is for an ls.... but i assume that a gsr intake on a gsr should work

Thanks alexboy for your input, it just simply may not apply to mine with the GSR intake as it routes slightly differently. I have a stock GSR IM and the DC DAC intake.

KILLERB, why wont it fit, and how do you know for sure, have you tried or seen from someone else who really tried? Just let me know, it will help me out a lot. Thanks.

i tried it myself and it does NOT fit!! i cut the dc pipe in half and used a sleeve to make it fit properly. It works fine now!

 

Thanks, a lot, that helps. Hey, what kind of 'sleeve' did you use/make? I mean, what was it made out of, was it metal or rubber, and what diameter, etc? And where did you get/purchase this material from? I only ask because I am looking to do this myself, but it will probably just feed to the stock airbox, not the icebox. If you could let me know, then that would be great, thanks.
