Default Some people told me dont waste money on intake manifold

as i am rebuilding my b16a engine soon, i am thinking of upgrade to skunk2 intake manifold as well. but some people tell me it is waste of money as skunk2 and oem b16a intake manifolds are similar design.

is it really a waste of money cause it costs $234 shipped or i should get a skunk2 68mm throttle body with skunk2 intake manifold for $495 shipped
whats your opinion and advise.
thanks

p.s i am putting in brand new high compression pistons and brand new ITR cams and new valve springs and new retainer and aem fuel rail and full gaskets and o rings

hmm...i heard that the S2 is different than the oem one, but not sure. i haven't physically compared the 2. if anything, it should be similar or the same to the itr IM, which is different than the b16.

as for the throttle body, why buy one when you can send your here:
