which head is po8-6??

i just got this head off my buddie and i was wondering if its a d15b vtec or a d16 vtec? from japan?? the cam gear cover says p08-6 and p28 and honda >pp~t< . did some research and cant find much about this.. can someone please help.. also posting some pics of what i just said. thanks in advanced

i second the z6 head. the p08 stamp is a z6 head. I have one on my shelf at my house. a z6 head fits a sohc zc block just fine.. and look, it has LMA's which makes it a vtec head.. sohc zc's are non-vtec.

You got yourself a JDM Z6 motor there... same thing, ZC is a 1.6 motor, they came in vtec and non vtec versions...

i got the block from the junkyard yesterday it has a ZC stamp on it and block has p28 pistons, it had a vtec head on it and the head had japan writing on it and ****. and i heard their was a zc sohc vtec engine so idk anyone else got anymore info on this? i can take pictures if needed to identify this motor.

THATS NOT true there are single cam vtec zc's out there
