Hondata was able to crack into the flash capabilities of the K-ECU's why not do some digging/research and figure out how to do this yourself? Start a whole new DIY movement.

after reading the accord project on pgmfi

i found out so far is that:

OKI 66Q592 is not fround but rather a 64F7055 is a Hitachi (Renesas) cpu is found in its place. there is no internally built programn to dump the rom

talk about this DLC cable is around

rom's are aval to download from a site that requires a 300 dollar annual mebershiip fee, supposrts all aplicable honda/acura cars.

i also found this:
37820-RBB-A54
2004 tsx auto ecu
7055 based
Mfg by Matsushita, different board layout

37820-PRB-A13
2005 rsx-s ecu
7058 based
Mfg by Keihin, very similar board layout to the accord ecu

honda epc states ecu part number 37820-RAD-A54 as a rewritable unit.
all ecu'sabouve 2002 are re-writable.

RAA bin is relased, i do have a copy will not hesitate to email to anyone who is interested in this project.

the rom dumper programn and souce is relased.

so basically to mod an ecu you need to

dump the rom (very close to being able to do this)
modify the rom (im sure this is the easiest part for a programmer, already has the RAA.bin dissassembeled on xenocron's site)
reload it back onto the ecu (which is done by the handheld unit that honda has, still unkown what code enables rom burning inside of that processor).

thats tuning in a nutshell. so they are pretty close and it was quite a breakthrough.

however they have only figured this out on the accord ecu's not the diffrent boarded ecus

but i belive hondata k pro is only aval. to rsx ecu's 02-04 prb if i rember am i correct?

nice, you see how close these guys at pgmfi are?

they have all the .bins from the him, which has all the bins for north american hondas just in case a map needs to be reloaded, they also figured out how to run the programn that EDITS the .bins on their computer.

just no code to get it from the PC to the computer

(apperantly honda put some stuff where it sends a number to the ecu and expects a number back to make sure it is dealing with an authorized unit. after that DIY reflashes WILL be avalible!)

ok so i got the programn running FINALLY but when i try to import the RWD files it says

error, DLC port unconnected, when i hit abort it seems to do ok, then i try to import it again, then it says select language with a scroll down bar.....with nothing, everything else is jumbled numbers.

this is the programn found in HIM that allows you to F.UCK with the MAPS

some loaded up a regestry for the progreman i will check it out see if i can make mine look like his LOL

so now im finally only 5 days behind

figured out that :

will @ hybrid is making a new harness so he can test one of the DIY reflashed ecu;s on his motor

and type-r has already stated that te .rwd ripping programn from the actual ECU had a few flaws in it, that made inconssitent diffrences in each map.......however ALL of the HIM .rwd's are fine.......these are the legit ones from honda
