I know everybody says "no decals" and "decals are rice" - but I have seen some very nice cars that have decals on them and thought it looked good. What is everybody's thoughts on decals if they are tastefully done and if you have the parts to support them?

To each his own, I personally do not like them, even if I had parts to back it up. Only decals on my car are my h-t stickers.

 

This is and will be the only decal on my car.

 

All I see is a red <FONT COLOR="red">X</FONT>

 

I don't think that I would sport a decal that names off any companies unless I'm getting paid for it.

I will on the other hand, sport the logo of a shop or club that I have affiliation with.

 

I too hate decals. Sorry.

 

i don't mind a couple stickers here and there if it's not too flashy.

I will only use decals for a club or "team" that I might be in. And no big flashy decals either.

I dont mind decals that are "tastefully" put on. Such as Advan or Spoon decals.. and only those if you have the parts to back it up. But a huge on my hood is just plain ridiculous IMO.. each to his own

i've got decals on my windows for companies that are helping our team out a lot.
I personally don't like them, but gotta show off their names in order to keep getting support. A lot of people say it's rice, but I say in my case it's advertisment.

 

I have my school on my back window, and a sticker of my college (school of architecture, a.k.a. S/ARC) above that. That is all.

Oh yeah, I have the H&R sticker that came w/ my springs under my hood.
