first start attempt and solid cel
Car: 94 dx
Motor: d16y7 w/ y8 intake manifold
ecu: obd1 p75
I finished putting the motor about ten minutea ago.
With the ecu plugged in:
-first position i get the beeping with the doors open
-second position all of the accessories come on
-starting position i get no response from the motor with the clutch pedal pushed down
-when i let it go back to second position a solid cel comes on
-when I release the pedal i get a loud click from inside the dashboard and the cel turns off
Without the ecu:
-same thing with the first and second positions
-starting position still no crank
-let it go back to second and nothing, release the clutch pedal and i get a click
I checked the ecu fuse and th starter signal fuse and they are both good. Battery is brand new
WTF
Maybe clutch pedal sensor? I'm not good at all with wiring

you sure you have the ground on the thermostat hooked up tight. if yes then you might have a bad ecu. if its chipped, then the chip might be bad
will the thermo ground stop the pump from priming? i dont think it is.
do you have a picture of how the thermo ground should be? i got this car motorless for $200 and i've been rebuilding it from the ground up for 3 weeks and i dont have anything to guide off of
