94 accord starting problem!!
My 94 accord ex doesn't even try to crank. Thought it was the starter but that is not likely. For some reason the solenoid is getting power to the big wire all the time, even when the key isn't in the start position. We're thinking it might be the ignition switch. Anyone have any idea what is going on with this?
Are there any starter relays or any other thing that can go bad unexpectedly that will cause the solenoid to not even engage?
I left my headlights on and came out to find my battery dead of course. Tried jumping it 3 times, decided the battery was shot and got a new one. Nope wasn't the battery. For some reason the anti theft light on the steering column blinks now. Never blinked once since I got the car until I came out and tried to jump it after it wouldn't start from having a dead battery.
!!! This is really frustrating thank you.

If the anti-theft light is blinking, that usually means that its armed and wouldnt that cause the car not to start? Im not too familiar with the accords, but on newer hondas and acuras thats what the immobilizer system does. It blinks when armed and someone is trying to start with wrong key or ecu not programmed for the key you are trying to use. Seems like an electrical problem too.
