B16 NO VTEC

Default B16 NO VTEC

I GOT A 96 CIVIC DX I TOOK THE D16 OUT AND PUT A B16 BUT THE VTEC DOESN'T KICK IN HOW CAN I GET TO WORK?

switch = stupid/pointless/gay/riceboy/retarded....you get the idea.

did your properly wire the solenoid/pressure switch? do you have the right ecu?

why a switch???? i know for a b16 swapped into a civic, there are 3 plugs on the b16 and only 2 on the car, the plug with the least wires on the b16 is the one for vtec...you wire it up correctly?

You have to get the connectors For the VTEC solenoid and the VTEC pressure switch, Theyre comman connectors so just hit up the junk yard.

Then you have to Run wires from the Solenoid and Pressure switch to the Pin Outs on the ECU.

And you also have to wire the Knock sensor, The DX is not wired for that. Same connector as the VTEc pressure switch.

Here are the pinouts for OBDII
