I dont think they asked me the question of ABS. But i would just tell them No ABS on that. Wait for someone else to chime in, im not positive.

thats not what he means, he means that he needs to know if he needs to tell them that he needs the axles for his yr car or for the motor that he swapped in... as to the op, my buddy put a b16 into his integra ls and he told them the axles for the car and not b16

"Hey I need a 99-00 drivers side axle" ? And will that work with my swap even tho its shorter?

I believe thats because B-series axles are interchangeable. But if your swapping a B-series into your civic or something, you'll need to ask for axles for the motor, not the car or else it will not work. Hes just trying to ask if needs to say Del sol B16 axles or 99-00 Si axles.

Is this right OP?

yeah... AND.... When they did pull out the del sol axles.... it was shorter... but it was with ABS... they didnt have any with out abs... i had to order that...

So....If i order the one with out abs.. will it be the same size as the JDM axle? or is it ok to be shorter?

Well it looks like you already saw the ABS one was shorter. So i'd go with the Non ABS. Theres only two choices here and one is knocked off, so the other should work .

Good luck on that B16 swap and getting it running.

all of the following will work

99-00si
95-97 del sol vtec (dohc)
94-01 intergra(any) manual trans

your car doesn't have abs so you can use abs or non abs, it doesn't matter

I used part# 8000 and 8061 from Autozone, I forget which one is which side

hope this helps

my pm's aren't working, the size difference is because a lot of the axles get mixed up with the remans, go to a different store they sould all be the same

they're all the same. if you like del sol's more then ask for those... if you like civics, ask for those.

are you sure they compared your axle to the correct side, because there isn't any jdm/usdm difference?

See this is what i what i was trying to say, how B-series axles are interchangeable, so all of the part numbers should have been the same essentially and not matter which one to go with.

ABS doesn't matter. It's just the sensor gear on the outer joint - you can leave it on without trouble, or pry it off if you're really that worried about it.

driver and passenger side axles are easy to differentiate, one goes into a half shaft(driver) the other doesnt.
