Default 07's and snow =\

i have an 07 4dr with skunk2 springs on it, my car is horrible in the snow it slips and slides everywhere. is this because of the suspension or are the stock height 07's like this as well?

i used to have that problem too. but once i swapped out my stock tires for some bridgestone blizzaks there doesnt seem to be an issue with sliding anymore

Weren't you banned previously? I'm not sure if you're supposed to just circumvent the 'system' and remake another name on here...

800??? what did you buy? LM-25's? did you buy warranties and all sorts of goods and pay for mounting and balancing and an alignment? seems too much if you ask me. the guy i know said he ordered mine and they will be in middle of next week, i think he said 163 a tire but the 4th one is free. so its so 489 for 4 mounted on my car. i think its an additional 15/tire for road hazard.

Nankang tires are cheap tires.. I had a set, they suck even when its dry. Get some GOOD all seasons, or winter tires if it ices a lot where you live. Most people in areas with hard winters get a cheap set of rims (you can get some rsx wheels for under $300) and slap some winter tires on them.

Ding!

Rattle Can RSX wheels and Blizzaks are an excellent combination in snow, slush etc.

So you're not gonna pretend to be Kaytipie? I mean she was 17, lived in NJ and also had an 07 FA with skunk2 springs on it. Odd

But to answer your question, my car sucks in the snow. Stock tires on the SI. Wouldn't expect much.. get some snow tires.

yeah it was pretty pricey. they were really short on winter tires so i guess they jacked up the price. but they did include all that good stuff ^, plus a free rotation later on.

Most places I know give free rotations and free tire repairs on flats when you buy their tires. I had the Federals on my integra, the cheapest all season you can get for $400 at Les Schwab, and it was awesome in the snow. My Si has summer tires and I live in Utah, it's the worse thing ever!

Get a set of Dunlop Graspic D2 in 17 and rock them on the stock Si wheels. They are only $108 a tire and you will be fine in any snow. TireRack. I have Blizzaks on 16 alloys and the car is a champ in the snow. Snow tires and LSD are a great combination.

Bridgestone Blizzac REVO 1's. The new REVO's have been released and they were selling the 1st gen REVO's for $80/ea. Great in snow and ice. Not so great on wet roads though.
