For anyone using Place Racing Mounts for a b16 - when you did your motor drop, did you have any problems with the headers meeting up with your existing exhaust system? Or did it meet right up?

I had to extend the exhaust about 2 inches. i had the stock headers and greddy exhuast

 

yah, mine was about 2 inches too short, and the collector was opposite the cat, so it wouldnt bolt up,

luckily i had the manifold from my 00 si and that manifold bolted directly with no problems, i couldnt use the 2nd 02 though.

 

i got the dc 4:1's and i didnt wire up one 02. it runs fine for now. i dont know about long term problems. i think my gas mileage is sucking but thats because i gotta spoon chip.

 

I think that's the case with all mounts...

 

yeah, the motor placement will be the same between the HAsport and Place mounts.
