17x9" on my ITR
Just a quick pic of my ITR on 17x9" wheels..
Not going to please everyone due to the stretched tyres, but I like it, and ive got a set of wheels with slicks for the track, so happy days
Cars a JDM Dc5 with JRSC and a few more mods

Wow, that's a terrible idea, very UNSAFE. The proper 17" tire size for an Integra is 205/40-17, which is only approved for rims 7.0-8.0 inches wide. When you put them on a rim much wider than the approved range, that places added stress on the sidewalls, which can build up heat and eventually fail as a result.

Explain to me why my Integra comes on 215/45/17 stock then
Think you need to do some research
I knew as soon as I saw your name on the thread what you were going to say about them being unsafe..
I know you have a thing against 'stretched' tyres
The approved range is just 'recommended', show me ANY evidence of anything happening to a stretched tyre..
Besides, a 215 on a 9" isnt a stretch properly, 195's on a 10" here in the UK

Your "Integra" is not called an Integra in this hemisphere.
If this is news to you, I think YOU need to do some research.

I don't have a "thing" about anything. What I do have is a desire for people to understand that some things they can do are UNSAFE. And they are unsafe, not just according to me, but according to the engineers at the tire companies, the people who design and manufacture the tires.
Now I KNOW you need to do more research.

Well, that's just what the engineers at Bridgestone and at Michelin say, because they've seen it happen during their testing. Of course, I'm sure someone who doesn't do research is never going to believe them...

That is UNSAFE. Most 215/45-17 tires are only approved for mounting on rims that are 7.0-8.0 inches wide. Even in the UK, tire manufacturers specify a range of approved rim widths. And the tire engineers there say the same thing. Look the specs up on the your favorite TYRE manufacturer's UK website and see for yourself.
It's unsafe. Don't do it.
