Installing fiberglass doors
Hi I am use to raceing Pro am allmotor and in 2008 Im moving up to pro allmotor and Im woundering where I can get the brackets 4 fiberglass doors so they can open and remove if I want and I was also woundering if there are any special rules for these
As far as I know, the brackets arent being fabricated anymore, as well as the FG doors(MB). In this case, I suggest just fabbing up your own or using OEM brackets and adapting it to the FG doors.
Thanx thats what i did But I remeber some of my friends back in the day could pen tere doors norm and then take themoff if need be andI thought those where cool but thats how I have them fab up now but i was just looking for some of those but thanx

I believe 10 point down to 8.50 then Funny car cage, the plates are 6x6x 1/8th inch thick. Contact the NHRA tech dept at NHRA.com and they can give you the local chassis inspector contact info. You may want to talk to him/her during your build to make sure it is correct. Rule books should be coming very shortly. If you use chromoly it is 1 5/8 inch x .083 wall thickness and mild steel is 1 5/8 x .118. Hopefully this helps get you going in the right direction.
