08 LX itake ? ** will the ECU throw lean codes **
Well im back to honda's again but this time for economy and not racing around. I ordered a exhaust for my 08 LX coupe cause I hate how quit it is and looking for little bit better power and sound.
Looking at a intake to complement the exhaust and see if I can squeeze a few ponys out of it and mabe another mpg or so. My concern is all the new computers they have on these cars now and how it will respond to a intake. I dont want it running to lean and throwing codes etc. I notices on injen site two dyno charts where they show the prototype injen intake compared to the tuned injen mr intake for the 06+ civics non SI's and the non tuned one had some nasty lean A/F ratio's compared to the final product.
Just wanted to get some feedback to see if
-the car responds to them well ** not trowing codes etc **
- any noticable increase in throtle responce or power
- even worth buying
thanks in advance for any feedback

our cars do well with the injen CAIs. AEM made one that seemed to throw a CEL but i believe they released a version2. injen''s product is very good (i have one), you will get a lot of opinions on this board about if it is worth it or not.
a little more hp might be there, but it does add a nice sounds to the car. the intake won't add enough hp to make your car run lean. no need to worry about that.

thats what I figured. Well I know sound will be nice but can u feel any HP gain or better acceleration or is it all sound for the little 1.8
