Thefts By Model: The NICB says that the 1995 Honda Civic was the most stolen vehicle in 2004. Motor vehicle thieves continue to target imports over domestic brands. Many vehicles on the top ten list shown below are 10 to 17 model years old. These cars have been consistent top sellers for many years and some of their parts are interchangeable. Thieves dismantle them for their components. The NICB compiles its list using National Crime Information Center data. It differs from the CCC Information list below because it is based on police reports while the CCC report uses insurance claims.

Well of course since theres a longer time span it would make more sense that the car thats been around longer would have more stolen reports, but if you just look at the past year, more integras/civics/crxs have been stolen compared to RSXs/EP3s. In general, an integra gsr is more likely to be stolen vs a rsx-s.

True, but as cars are around longer people start to figure their way in and out of them quicker...I believe in a few years, with how much these k swaps are going for and as thiefs start to learn about the cars more, you will see alot more dc5's being stolen. First thing I did when I got mine was 5% tint and put out $450 for my alarm system. Nothing's fool proof, but it will help me sleep better at night.
wow, im surpirsed that there are that many rsxs. i went to one here in cali with my cuzin, lookin to find a k20a2 for his ep3 but there were none to be found.
i know ek/egs are thieves's favorites but ther has been a rise in 240 jackings
i blame FATF tokyo drift
