playing out the rose even more
Well, with the same criteria as most guys in here: broke as a joke, some capacity of fabrication, and tools that need to be used more often, I decided to make my wife a rose for Christmas. Check it out and let me know what you guys think. I'm thinking about painting it but not sure if I want to anymore or not.
start out with sheetmetal and rod

make some patterns on sheetemetal

cut out patterns

drill holes in the center of them, slip them onto the rod, then fold up petals to get this

another shot

almost finished

finished piece

Could you # them for me, I want to try this.
I'll even give you the pantie dropper.....
You give her the rose and with 11 real roses and tell her this......
"When the last rose dies that's when I'll stop loving you"
O yeah, your getting some that night.
If you did'nt get it, your last rose can't die, it your metal one, that's why there are 11 real.

I slipped the piece with the 7 stems first then tacked adn folded it. I then used the one with 4 stems and slipped it on from the bottom. The only piece I used after that was the star piece. I didn't use more of teh patterns after that.
