Default Newbie

I just bought a 2002 Civic and was wondering if there was any parts I should replace for better performace, I'm not going to rebuild the engine or anything but some small (easy to install) suggestions would be great, thanks!

and all those mods will net you 2-3hp increase to the wheels

go with suspension mods first!

suspension first, imo
shocks and springs or coilovers ~ $700
new rims 15's or 16's with some falken azenis
you'll love the new stance and handling

Suspension and Brakes first! IMO...............

Then with what u have left go get your basic bolt ons that will increase speed a little bit and make it sound a lot better too........\

PS welcome to Honda - tech

if youre not willing to pay $1000 on i/h/e then you should go shop at pep boys and get their "dyno-proven" products.

welcome man! Congrats on scoring a nice car. LIke others said, I would start with the suspension first. Reason being that those cars are still too new for anyone to have a competitive market on those aftermarket products that you are looking for. If you wait a little while, THERE WILL be a market for those parts soon. PAtience makes the price go lower.

Are Tokico 'blues' good shocks? they are pretty cheap, I don't race my car plus my gf drives it a lot so I need something that is a comfortable ride but also improves handling.... I was lookin at koni's but they are quite a bit more expensive, and whats the difference between the 'reds' and 'yellows'?
