Default Cylinder Hones ball type vs flat stones. Which is better

going to start my rebuild on my b16a for my ef.sedan. My question is which hone is better, the Cylinder Hone ball type or flat stone. Also what grit should be used?

The Ball Type is newer! and probably a little bit better In my opinion

Grit? I wouldnt have a clue. hope this helps
