Can you get OEM trunk with no holes?
I was trying to get a trunk lid without any holes drilled for either the EX lip or the Si wing. Parts at the dealer said they come in with holes either for the wing or the lip spoiler. So there is no way to get one without any holes in it. Is this true?
The bodyshop around here will charge 400+ for filling and repainting the holes with the trunk, and the DX has lip spoiler too.

if you look at the 2nd column, 7th pic...there is no lip?
do you have a coupe or sedan?

Well then do any of you have any idea about taking the lip spoiler off? I looked at it and the 2 in the middle are easy, it's like tap style that I can pull it out. the 2 on the outside of those 2 are just nutes, but the 2 at each end of the spoiler has this flat end looking thing, that I don't know if it's supposed to be twisted off, or it's like a cap that needs to be pulled off. Either way, my hand can hardly get to it. Any ideas? I'll take some pictures once the camera battery is charged.

How is that outrageous? they have to weld up the holes, grind down the welds, filler and prime then paint/clear.
if its a quality job then its a reasonable price. if its maaco quality then its not worth it.
