it just depends on what ones you get, they have to major types out, one where you drill a hole into the end of the bolt say if you broke the head off or something, and you stick this twisted, almost drillbit looking thing that flairs out into the hole you drilled. those work probably the best, but you have to be careful when your drilling. Irwin makes some great ones. and also they have some that go over the head of the bolt and grab the outside of the bolt and turn it that way. those work great unless if the bolt is heavily stripped, or you break the head. just ask the people at the parts store you need a bolt extractor, it will be back with the endwrenchs or drillbits.

heat. heat up the flywheel around the bolt. if its not stripped too bad use an impact gun. make sure you have the the crank secured somehow so its not gonna rotate the motor.
you could always as a last last resort drill and tap the bolt so you can thread a bolt into there and get it out that way. ive done it once on a bolt but it was a super last resort

My friend had that problem, he bought the bolt stripper socket from sears and than let PB blaster penetrate on the bolt for awhile and than used a impact gun to take the stripped flywheel bolt out.. If that doesnt work, your best bet is to drill it out or heat it up.. Good luck though.
thanks for the help, but the bolt removers failed and i ended up putting a coulple hours in on the diegrinder lol, but anyway they are off , so on with more work, and again thanks for all the help.
