Like the title states, what are some things you might of initially disliked/hated about the s2k that later on you end up not minding or actually like now.
I'll go (even though I don't own one...currently shopping around)
[*]AP2 front bumper:
This has really grown on me the most. I plan on purchasing an ap1, however, I'll do the ap2 front w/ the ap1 headlight lights.
[*]Limited trunk space:
I didn't like the thought of it at first, but then I thought about it more and more...I hardly use my trunk for anything other than the spare tire. I have no kids that I need to worry about trunk space. Plus I see some of the fine trunk packing skills on here in some of the s2k threads....
[*]2 Seats:
Again this falls into the space category, which I didn't like at first. Now that I think about it this would be great now I don't have to lug people around. Nor do I have to worry about people (w/ parties of 2 or more) asking me for rides.
These are some that I can think of right now.

Limited head room. Im 6'2, if i sit up straight my hair touches the ribbing of the soft top. But I live in florida and it's december and i drov to work this morning with the top down. Bothers me very little now.

I never thought about that...I figured the bucket seats would compensate for that. However that still pretty good for someone who's 6'2.

Lol, yea. Thats why Im unsure about getting a 6pt cage for mine, like cusco. If i have to move the seat anymore forward my legs might become a problem, if i just lean the seat farther forward I might be trying to see thru ribbing.
Edit: 6pt.

i have nothing to complain about.
i love the two seats. hated having to pick people up from house to house. used to own a explorer sport trac. before the hatch. brother owns the truck now. better to roll deep.
always wanted one.
first car was

right away gutted everything from carpet to floor tar to dough nut to back seats.
got side swiped

got an s2k 3 months after

perfect for just me and the lady.
trunk space not a problem.
we travel in a mid size cooler and duffle bag.
i love the very tight space **** pit. it really gives that tight race feel.
wasn't too used to it at first when i went to the dealer. i was like damn its so tight in here.
but i got really really comfortable after ive bought the car.
one more thing i wasn't used to the long front end. i over estimated it. i creeped in too much a scratched my bumper right under the passenger headlight.
haha i guess i was a little too excited after having the car. o well. got over it in about a week.

Damn. I heard about the driver's left leg possibly rubbing against the cusco bar at, or a little below the knee (depending on your height). I'll take a possible sore left knee any day for a cusco cage...it's so sexy with the top down.

On the flip side of things, wouldn't this also mean less time to cool the cabin when using the A/C. That's a plus.

Was there any getting use to the 5spd to 6spd transition? (assuming most of us on here drove a 5spd car prior to getting the S)

Sweet looking S2k there. I'll definately will keep the long front end thing in mind.

Not at all I mean ther first time you drive it it feels a lil unnatural shifting into sixth cause your used to the reverse in the 5-speed. But after acouple times you get used to it and you end up loving the fact that you have six gears.
Oh and the whole not being used to the long nose this happened to me too. I came from a teg so I was used to sitting high in the cabin and seeing over my hood. When I got in my S you sit pretty low and sunk in, driving it was fine around town but when I pulled up to the gas station and thought I had a lil more room upfront to moove up. Turns out I didnt and I lightly really really lightly taped the dude infront of me. He didnt even notice so it was cool and I had no damege. Anyways the point is the nose is pretty long compared to what your prolly driving now. So watch it at parking lots and gas stations.

Same I was like wtf where do I put my ****?? But now I love it it feels lik your the only thing that metters in the car everything sarounds you. Now when I get in my sis's car (my old teg rs) I'm like wtf is this?? It feels like its a bus inside.
I think anyhting you dislike about this car will evantually grow on you and youll realize its to enhance your driving experience in this amazing car.

I didn't like how there's no tilt steering colum (I'm 6'4" 245lbs), but now I actually prefer to have the steering wheel down where it sits - good for better visibility.
Also the no-clock bugged... like the previous dude said "cell phone" woohoo!
Probably the very last thing that bugged me was the no-spoiler trunk. I realize Honda makes 2 spoilers but you really never see them especially on stealership cars. Now that I've owned one for a while, I actually love the flat low spoiler that just sneaks in above the third brake light, as it accents the car without saying "HEY LOOK AT MY JDM **** y0 5-tiered Formula 1 WING WITH RACE STRIPES DAWG!".
Far as the 5spd-> 6spd honestly I didn't have any issue adjusting. I sat in it knowing exactly how to shift it for 6 and R. What throws me for a loop is driving my old 5spd Prelude (GF inherited it...lucky little b- I mean girl). You get used to being able to go into 6 and it's like "OH whoops 5th is the end!"

My S2K grew on me pretty quickly! biggest thing for me was getting used to the 6th gear. Oh and having power steering, power windows and a/c. My daily is a 97 civic cx hatchback with power nothing
But it has a turbo'd h22 in it so I don't need all those things
The best part was at the dealer when I was getting ready to leave. Up until this I had never put it in reverse, never even crossed my mind honestly. Needless to say I didn't push down on the shifter and didn't go anywhere. Me at that point........
Then after a couple minutes I figured it out and on the road I was. Wasn't one of my brighter moments but it makes for a good laugh w/ my friends.

i hate the fact that i can not activate my alarm with the key in the ignition. that would come in handy during the colder months of the year
