Default Shuttering Accord Coupe. Wheel Bearings?

I have a 97 Accord coupe. Recently I've noticed an intermittant shuttering when driving over 35mph or so. Sometimes it is felt in the steering wheel but mostly just the entire car will shake. I assumed it was ice and snow that built up in the wheel wells so Ive completely cleaned them out and still get it.

I assume it could be tie rod(s) or wheel bearings? It's definitely not engine related so I'm guessing it could be those culprits. Possibly a failing motor mount?

I am confused because its intermittent and only happens sometimes. I didnt have this issue when it was warmer out and I've been making sure my wheels, wheel wells and brakes are clear of snow and ice. All tires are matched, balanced properly with correct inflation, and only a few months old. Camber seems fine also. Any ideas?

As long as your tires are all good and you don't have any snow or ice built up inside of the rims, the only other thing that would cause vibrations like that would be the axles . Wheel bearings don't make vibrations, they will only make noise. Are you absolutely sure you cleaned the ice out of the inside of the rims?

Yes. I double and triple checked because I was initially sure thats what it was. Is it possible that its tie rod ends or would that make the steering wheel consistantly shake? I was told by a coworker that he had a similar problem with vibration and the car pulling in odd directions (which my accord has been doing recently). He said it had something to do with his wheel bearings. Thats why I was guessing that.

My CV axle does need replacing on the passenger side. The boot tore open and it starting clicking about a month ago. Ive just been putting off the repair because its so damn cold here. I am really clueless here, as you can tell.

Yea, replace that CV axle. I would imagine that's what could be causing the problem, especially if the boot is ripped and it's clicking.
