Default #1 cylinder going lean/detonation under FI

anyone ever hear anything about this? When i blew my engine it was the #1 cyl, then there is a s2000 in my town that full-race build. It seems to have blow bye in the same cyl. coincidence or not IDK thats why i figure ill throw it out there. possibly a poor manifold for a FI car?

If you look at the intake manifold you will see why # 1 gets more air. open your T/B, you will see #1 runner. There is a nice WALL there, I would say most of the air is forced into #1. Thats why Im going to get full races manifold.

I never could understand why Honda would make a manifold like that. I really dont understand how a N/A mani should be set-up but god knows the OEM mani is not good for F/I

can't you do individual cyinder fuel trims with AEM? Or is it just ignition?

granted i doubt u had EGT's on each runner in the exhaust manifold. . . .

You need MO-TECH to get egt temps on each cyl
