yeah, gearing is better - gearing should be the same as a 92-95 si tranny except with steel shift forks:

http://home.cinci.rr.com/mistab0ne/tranny.html

So its gonna feel quicker but run out of gear sooner... perfect if you do a mini-me though.

It increased the daily driving fun in my y7.

Another good cheap upgrade is an ex header.

And/or an ex intake manifold.

Let's the engine breath a bit better. Gives it some bottom end. I'm glad I did/doing the above.

Really the only thing worth noting in the ex/dx difference in gear ratio's is the final drive.

i wouldnt do the intake manifold swap i heard its a waste of time no real gain with it and i already have aftermarket headers on my y7 so no-can-do on the ex header

EX tranny ftw, bro. Throw in a slightly lighter flywheel while you're doing the clutch swap. It'll respond quite nicely.

Exactly what I did. Haven't regretted it at all.

Incorrect, if they are installed properly and torqued to spec.
I have had my fidanza flyhweel in for 7 months now, and i dont regret a thing

Stock weight is like ~17 or 18 lbs ( around there)
My fidanza is ~10.
Makes a noticable difference in feel right off the bat.

I went with a Competition 12 lb. Ran about two bills.. through Phantasmusa.com

I love it. Revs/accelerates a lot quicker than stock.

Only precaution, from what I hear, once you get much lighter you run into hassles with street use. Not sure where the ~ cut-off weight is, though. I wouldn't go down to 8 or anything.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

This is the exact kit I bought from the exact same seller. I got it shipped to my door in two days with no charge.

He's the best pricing and service I've seen/heard of on exedy products. As long as he's in business he has me as a customer for life.

The flywheel has never been too light for me, I don't even notice it anymore.

he sells all exedy products. He also has an exedy stage one organic with the fidanza as well, my room mate made 430whp with that clutch

Probably not good for it, but it's a testament to it's quality.
