Ehhh...another CW Mugen ITR project...
I usually don't post pictures of incomplete projects but I am so close to being done I couldn't help it. I just recently finished installing my JDM front end and as you can tell...
It still needs a paint job...
I thought I might post some parts that I have been meaning to put on the car but haven't had a chance. You know how that goes, next week turns into next year. Well for me, at least for one item, next week turned into about 8 years (more on that later).
Here is some pictures of the car:

Here are more pictures with some of the parts that have been lying around for years:
Comptech Race Exhaust for DC2R- I busted my race header on an open man hole about 3 years ago and never got a replacement. Maybe I'll put it on again one of these days.
Mugen Side Stripe kit- I bought this new about 8 years ago. I never put it on because I thought my car wasn't "M
gen enough" for it. Still not sure what I want to do with it. Maybe i'll have exact replicas made from it and sell them!
Or i'll just sell this one. Edit: I'm told this is fake by many members. I believe them.
Mugen N1/NZ springs- I bought these when I had my first ITR back in '00. The car got stolen and I never bought the suspension. I believe the spring rates are 16kg!

I don't drive the car much anymore because I picked up an '07 MDX. I love this vehicle. You'd be amazed how well it handles.

Well, the Mugen side stripe is definitely a replica, sorry if you thought it was real. The authentic kit comes in 6 pieces and has a completely different overlay.

This is true. I would not waste my time putting that stripe on such a fine Mugen mobile.
The Euro ITR forums somebody sells a replica that is spot on. You should try that one.

Car looks great! I really dont know what to think about that style hood, its hit or miss for me. The replica mugen decal seems the way to go, as I have yet to even see one for sale and I look daily for one.

I actually did use it on the street for awhile. It's not as bad as it looks. If you look at the muffler section its really long so it isn't too loud during normal driving. When you get on the gas its sounds crazy. Its a really low tone but it also wails like nothing I've ever heard. It's really cool. As soon as I get another header I will put this back on the car.
Here are pics when I first put on the race header/exhaust:

You don't plan on using that on the street, do you?

I always wanted to put one 0' those on and race around town and shock the gentry.

Exhaust looks sicks...bet it's LOUD!
The long resonator should help some.
Right now I'm running straight pipe from Apex 4-1 with 2.5" collector to a Spoon N1....and that is LOUD. The Spoon N1 doesn't really do much. It sorta sounds like Open header still, just exiting out the back
Good to see another clean R sporting some MF10's
