Default 2007 CRV in snow?

How well do CRVs perform in snow? I don't know much about the their AWD system, only read what is on the Honda website. It's going to be the wifes car, not looking to off-road the thing. She just needs to be able to commute (in the snow) in it. Thanks.

i've got a EX-L 07 CR-V, this one is awd. In snow shes runs great. Haven't been stuck yet and i'm in WI. Just wish she was a bit stronger w/ more hp.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, looking at the engine, I was thinking more power would be nice, especially at elevation.

I have the same model and I like the hp and achieving more is easily be done on a k-series...I personally think it could use some more torque...especially going up hills

I have 99 crv and I can say it goes thru snow I beat the crap out of it offroad and have never been stuck. its bone stock, I dont do anything crazy with it but I can plow through a foot plus of snow with no problem.
