Default STPR RSX

Hi,

I'm Alejandro Santiago owner of STPR Corp. in Puerto Rico. We're retailers, wholesalers, and shop for JDM OEM and Aftermarket parts for Sport Compact cars.

Here's my new ride. It was a work in process project that I was performing for a customer and friend of mine that now decides to setp up for a better ride. I know it has a lot of work to do, but I just wanted to share it with you guys to see your different opinions. The main purpose of the project is going to be Time Attack Racing, combined with a clean and nice looking ride in the inside, outside, and egine bay.

Here's the actual mods list:
Injen CAI
DC Race Header
Fujitsubo Power Getter Exhaust
Mugen Thermostat, Fan Switch, Oil cap
Samco Rad. Hoses
Koyo Rad
ARC Rad cap
J's Racing Eng Damper
Exedy Stage 2 Clutch kit
Function and Form Coilovers
Hotchkis Sway Bars
Carbing Rear LCA Bar
Rotora F & R Slotted Discs
Cobalt Racing Pads
Stoptech SS Brake Lines
Rota Circuit 10 17x7.5 Wheels
Potenza RE-070 Tires 225/45/17
Aluminum Racing Lug Nuts Black
Password;JDM Hood Dampers
VIS CF Hood, Hatch & TR Front Lip
TR Rear Lip & Side Kirts
JDM Type S Badges
Mugen Steering Wheel Hub
FET Quick Release Kit
Personal Neo Grinta Black Leather/ Red Stitch
Mugen New Style shift ****
Recently Resprayed w/ Glazuritt paint all around (oem color)

Here're some pics tooked by me (yes I know I'm not good at this):

Here're my future plans:
Exterior:
JDM ITR Headlights
Ganador CF Mirrors

Interior:
Bride or Recaro Bucket Seats
Some 3" Racing Harness (takatas, teamtech or willians)
Cusco Side Bars
EM Racing Tringle Bar Kit
Nardi Deep Corn in Perforated Leather
Rear Seats delete and painted interior
Password;jdm kevlar Fuel Pump Cover
Defi or Apex'i Gauges

Suspension & Brakes:
F & R Strut Bars (looking for cusco, mugen, etc. nothing too expensive)
JDM ITR Brembo front upgrade (if budget afford)

Wheels:
Don't know yet (something like advan RG II's, mugen GP's or something like that)

Engine & Tranny:
K-Pro
JDM ITR or SI LSD Tranny
Password;jdm Kevlar Power Intake & Battery relocation kit, and Spartk Plug Cover
Supertech Valves, Valve Springs & Retainers

These're the mods I hope to be making as my budget afford, I would like them to be more, but I need to stay realistic. Please consider that I'm taking all the mods that my customer already decides to make, and now I need to make it my way.

Sorry for the cheap pics, and I hope you'll like it, and again please let us know your opinion.

Sincerely,

looks like your rear sway bar is hitting the lower control arm. or it might jsut be me, im thinking of going with a thicker rear sway bar but i know that would annoy me. does it bother you?

think you have a good start but I would lose the rota and the CAI. If you want to time attack you need a responsive throttle. I just don't like rota because everything they make it copied. They don't belong with JDM.

Same lip, hood, and hatch I have waiting in jersey for me! Makes me excited seeing how good they look together. How much of a pain in the *** was it swapping out the Rr hatch glass? That's Fire Pepper Red right? I was also thinking about ordering the Cf sides and Rr lip from Seibon. Anyone have these on their car? Pics are appreciated...

hey, i love the Visions and the Bride Gias, but need to see when that time came up, and definetly I'll play for win at the track.

hi, thanks for the comment, and I noticed the LCA marks earlier, but it looks like is in the big "dip kerbs" (I don't know if I spell it right) only. The comfort really depends in the susp. set-up, and wheel/tire combination that you're running, but definetly you could get something that could work for what you're looking, if is a daily driver, don't go too thick. It really doesn't bother me in any way, but comfort is a very personal thing.

thanks, the Rotas are because I'm the distribuitor of them here in PR, and I selled them to the ex-owner of the car, eventually I'm going to keep them for racing, and buy a "original" set for the street, don't know yet wich ones, but I really understand what you're taliking about, and I'm with you 100%, but they work for some people. The CAI I have a deal with it, and I'm going now with the Password;JDM carbon/kevlar kit w/ the battery reloc., and the Odyssey battery.

hi, so your ride should definetly looks hot, Lol! About the rear hatch swap is not too easy, at least this one is from VIS and besides of the latches, it don't have any of the holes for the covers, and wiring etc, so it should take you like 1/2 or 3/4 of a day depending of your skills. The car is a 2002 Type-S, I don't know exactly the color, but I can check it for you. About the CF sides and rear lip it could look good if you combine it well.

Thanks, about the F2's I love them, these're a little bit hard, but is because I'm running the Stiff springs, but you could order Soft springs also. Very nice product I really recommend it.

hi, no we don't have tax stickers. Gov is starting to implement it now because of the damages that the trucks are making to the roads, but is only for heavy trucks.

hi, thank for the comment, the sides and rear lip are form one of my vendors, NIN Autosports, here's the link, ask for Eugene http://www.ninautosports.com. The CF Hood, Hatch, and Front Lip are from VIS.

Again thanks for the comments, and I apologize for the late replies. I hope I answerd everything.

Sincerely,

Sincerely,</TD></TR></TABLE> Yeah LoL Mine's a 2002 Type S Same color Fire pepper Red. I ordered my stuff from a Seibon dealer. Only thing that should be a little different is the rims I plan on getting. Right now I want the Volk CE28 TimeAttacks , but they are a little too pricey for me while in school. Maybe I'll spray my boy's BBS's off his STI black/red and call it a day. I think they are the same lug pattern. Sweet ride though man, what kind of power is it putting down?

Hey!, Which CF parts finally you order? About the rims, I think that you'll need to bore the center up to 64.1mm, because the STI center bore is 56.1mm, but that's something that any machine shop could do for 50 to 100 bucks. Also they need to be from a 2005 and up STI, because the 2004 is 5x100. Some Time Attack's would definetlly looks good, I was thinking about the Mugen GP's, or some Regamasters fro mines, but I don't know yet. Man the power I think is lees than factory LOL! J/K. I haven't dynoyed but should be between 175 and 185 whp, because the engine is relatively stock, and it has stock ECU, at this time. Man I can't wait for the K-Pro.

Do you have any pics from yours?

Thanks!
