Default What does the 4040 on the prop valve specifically mean?

Is that a part number? Because it wouldn't make sense to me that it would be 40/40 brake distribution. Wouldn't it be 50/50, or 60/40 or something that added up to 100? Reason I ask is because I am going to be doing a brake line tuck and I eliminated my ABS years ago. When I pulled all the ABS stuff, I just used T fittings (in place of the prop valve) from the hardware store, and the brakes worked great for like 2 years. Even when I slammed on the brakes, they didn't lock up in the rears, and the pedal was fairly touchy. Now that I'm pulling all my lines apart again, I figured if I'm going to put in a prop valve, now is the time. But my other question is, does the ABS master cylinder on g2's do some proportioning? Why else would one of the lines be bigger than the other? Or is the line the same size, with a just a larger fitting?

It's not that I don't believe you, but can anyone confirm this?
