me and afriend just got back from checking out a 87 crx si that was for sale, i'm looking to buy a new car b/c my insurance on my 96 hatch is just getting out of control so i just want something cheap and here it is. I'm wondering how easy is it to find parts for this, i remember seeing a body kit for it once and that was about it except for diff headlights and stuff like that. How difficult would it be to swap in a zc into it? or any other swap? thanks for any help

 

Only go fast stuff is available for the older CRXs. 86-87 Teg motors pretty much drop right in, or you can use the same year ecu and injectors with the stock motor for more power. Cams, headers, short shifters, shocks, springs/torsion bars, sway bars are all available for these cars. Furthermore, 86-89 Teg front and rear disc brakes swap right over. Lots of options. You can make a really fast car for not too much money.
