stock radio question
i have the stock radio im my civic and was wondering if i can get a cd changer in there but how and where would i be able to find one and is there a wiring harness that i need also.
You can put a CD changer into almost anything.
JVC, Pioneer, Alpine, etc all make CD Changers.
You can look at the face of the factory radio and see if it's got any CD buttons on it. Or, if you can't tell, you would pull the radio and look to see if it's got a cd changer port on the back, then you could add a factory Honda unit.
Otherwise, you'll be stuck using a universal changer, which will be FM modulated.

Hey how about you stop being a post *****? There's an "edit" button for a reason, you know.
Anyways... I have no idea why your radio gets staticy when you turn your headlights on. The ballasts are probably generating an interference. You could try grounding the ballasts and the radio directly to the battery & see if that helps. If not, then I dunno.
I would think that if you found a CRV or Accord changer of the same year, and with the same plug, it should work. Make sure you get one that's complete, and make sure the cable is in good shape.
I can't tell you how many people came into the shop with a changer chassis, missing the magazine & cable, asking if they could buy them there.
