Default 2006 Civic clock gaining time. About 1 minute a month.

We find that the clock in our 2006 Civic purchased in October 2005 gains about a minute a month. Before we realized the problem, it was getting us places a little more on time, but now it is just annoying.

Anyone else with this same experience?

We took it to Honda after about a year and were told that there was nothing to be done.

Isn't this something that happens to all clocks with the time getting slightly off over time?

Lol you can adjust the clock, almost all clocks are over/under a small bit. A minute a month isn't bad if you have a wind-up clock to compare it to, that's intensive

My clock is off to. Honda may have run into a problem with a series of radios with bad software or controllers.

I have to reset mine every once in a while. I gain about 2 mins/month. I'm comparing it to my cell, which is dead on with most other clocks like my punch-in clock at work, other people's cells, etc etc.

Cells are pretty accurate, they rip the local time from towers, who I assume... get it from somewhere important? lol

But I've noticed the same problem in my car. I've just become accustomed to reseting it every once in awhile when I'm stuck in traffic or something.
