Default Tired of those NO-GOOD thieves?!?! This is MY solution......Hope it works!!!! The ULTIMATE in layer

Well this is the idea i have to somehow protect your precious money pit honda from those ******* thieves.......KARMA IS A BITCH!!!!

-have every kill switch possible installed & dont tell ANYONE not even 'friends'

-get 1 (or 2) of those wheel lock devices (4 if you have cash)

-lug locks (dont get the 'dealership' set) get 2 different sets & mix up the nuts

-keyless door handles from a 'fo-do' (aka 4-door 4 the ebonically challenged )

-shaved trunk/hatch

-get a high quality alarm w/ backup batt. w/ stealth placement

-dont tint your windows 5% all the way around (once they get in no one can see)

-get that 'anti theft window film' (I saw a thread floating around on HT) and apply it
to ALL your windows

-clutch lock on your clutch, brake AND gas pedal (remember its all about layering)

-use the highest quality CLUB on your steering wheel, 2 of them if possible

-reroute your hood latch and place the bracket in a secret place

-dont keep any expensive **** in your car or at least in plain sight

-park in driveway if you have one, or park in front yard if big enough (if u have 1)

-be careful who you tell whats under your hood in 'the hood'
because friends MIGHT tell friends whos friends are THIEVES

-do NOT get caught 'slippen' by being lazy one night & not arming all your security

-park your car in well lit, high traffic areas when possible if out somewhere

-buy a high-power tazer & aluminum mini bat and sleep in your car at night
if your car has 5% tint, they will get a suprise when they try to jack you
if you have no tint, they will look at you holding the bat & taser to your chest and
might think "expletive, this is one crazy ************!!!" & hopefully leave
O yeah I forgot, remember to shock first, THEN swing.....If the theif is far from
reach, swing bat at legs, shock, then swing again (repeat for any other theifs)
also, while they are groaning in pain or k.o. 'ed, take license for reference for
the cops

-buy a really comfortable seat to do the above

-Now I know we all cant be at our car at all times (work, school, etc.) so go out &
purchase a quality trained burmese python and keep him in your whip
the potential thief might **** his pants b4 he even TRIES 2 jack you

I am seriously considering the above because the rise of theft against our cars is
seemingly skyrocketing....It helps having a few more pieces of mind

What do you guys/ladies think? Thanx for the input in advance! happy holidays!

bored? ha, good sum up of the typical things most honda owners should do.

The "finally happened to me" threads are getting ridiculous though. It's out of control, and is discouraging people from doing what they really want to do to their car and daily drive it at the same time. It's ashame...just yesterday say a thread and the poor guy is now sticking to stock cars...

This makes the car sound like a pain in the *** to drive even if you're the owner.

Agreed.

PS:
If you use a tazer, whether they were trying to steal your car or not it's assault and/or battery (depending on your state laws) and depending on the severity of it could be facing criminal charges and possibly felony charges. Not something I would try out.

Oh, and in the event this entire thread is a joke (I hope to god it is), then it doesn't belong here. It belongs in tech.

In fact, it belongs in the security section at the very least.

Are you seriously going to use 3 clubs and flick 3 kill switches every time you park your car? Maybe for a couple days at the most, then you'll get a life.

I am an alarm + 1 kill switch man.

That's what the python is for. Tazer the thief to subdue him, then get the python to eat him. Viola! No body = no crime!

You'll need to get a second python though, because that one won't be hungry again for a few months.

get piezo sirens, pain generating sirens that will make your ears bleed.

hook it up to a back up battery, they'll be brave to try to endure it and it will catch attention

As stated in the other thread in which you swung on LoJack's *******, it's good if you live in one of LoJack's limited coverage areas. Otherwise, it's totally useless.

I've also heard that it only or mostly works in higher population areas. Does anyone know where I might be able to confirm the coverage areas?

Hmmm... I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but maybe LoJack's website would contain that information?

No need to be a dick about it. I've been on the site before and casually looked around, but didn't remember anything like that. And I wasn't so interested to go search even.

Then yes, being a dick was indeed called for.
