What is the best tire size to 16's to prevent rubbing?

i run 205/45/16 on my EJ1 lowered about 2.25 inches and dont have any problems.

normally 205/45/16, depends on your offset and how low you plan on going
195/40/16's will rub if you slam it...soooo
