Default Type R swap

I have been slowly building a 99 GSR daily driver for about a year. I have been in school so i could only afford to rebuild the motor with stock after market parts except for a exedy stage 1 clutch kit and fujita cai w/aem bypass valve. At this time i have come into a bit more money and have been looking at type R crate motors. my question is... would it be worth it to spend 5 grand a COMPLETE type R motor swap. my other question is... would i be able to sell the motor i have already built, along with trans, axles and ecu with ease?

I agree. You'll be faster and still have that bling factor. ITR's are played out

You have a built GS-R engine, and you want to drop 5k on an ITR?

A built GS-R engine will run all over an stock ITR.

yeah, pretty much... especially if you're just going to get an engine from a type r, b18c5. build up what you have and call it a day. ...or sell your car and buy an inexpensive ITR!!! you can get them as low as 9-11k!!! just make sure you have a garage to store it in.

If you spent that $5k on an ITR swap, you'd be horribly disappointed. With that much money you could build a setup similar to mine and have a hell of a lot more power than any ITR swap. Check the sig for details
