Default Modding the 02 Type-S. Need suggestions.

Alright guys, I just came from a 2006 Civic Si, totalled. I did the whole mod thing (man was that car lookin sweet) anyways... I'm not into power mods anymore, I may do some once this car is paid for, but for now, I just want it to look good.

I don't like body kits, and very few non-OEM lip kits. I plan to put my 06 Si wheels on this car (they fit the 02-04 models right? 5x114.3? or is that just 05-06?). Its NHBP. I really don't know what all is available for this car. The only things I want to do FOR SURE right now are a shift **** that isnt 6inches high, and a fog light kit. Any suggestions for each? I had the skunk2 10th ann **** in my Si and loved it, though it got a little warm.

I would like to do some suspension mods in the near future, but I don't really have a big budget for a full coilover set.

Type R full lip kit or the A-Spec kit look good IMO. Tein S Techs and Koni Yellows will give you a nice stance and won't leave you broke. Intake, RH, Exhaust, Kpro will give you a few extra ponies with out making it super fast. Just because the car's fast doesn't mean you have to drive fast. Type R wing/A-Spec wing are descent cosmetic upgrades, probably help in aero as well. All the year DC5's are 5x 114.3 lug pattern.

i agree with the post above me .. the aspec kit looks very good. i plan on getting that soon. the type r wing is nice also. you can put in aftermarket headlights ... tint the windows alittle bit if you want some minor mods.

I'm considering getting a retrofit done, i want dual projectors.

As for the type-r wing... not a big fan. It looks good on the type-r only because people are like "wooowwww... type r" but... as for daily driving. pass.

I will check out the lip kits. Definately plan on getting some tint done.
