doode its on you. if you wanna paint it CW then go for it... keep in mind.

there are ITR owners on here with pink paint, orange paint, green paint, olive paint etc etc.

its your car, dont ask other ppl what they like and then go and fix up your car according to what pleases them.
its all you baby, all you!

IMO, the value would go down. If I were to do a color change I would choose an non-oem itr color, but thats just me.

Its your car though and do what you want with it. If you go ahead with this, do it the right way and paint the bay, jams, interior as well.

Is it a salvaged title shell? If so, might as well, I probably would either way, VSM would be my choice

I still don't know why they ever made a Type R other than CW.

Also, if it's a salvage title it won't really matter on the resale.

A complete car, yes.

A shell, I don't think it's really going to matter.

I concur.... i don't see the resale value being effected at all starting from scratch with a shell. To be honest it may attract a buyer who is looking for a 00--01 R in CW that doesn't want to fool with importing one from Canuckland.

PAINT THAT BISH!

If it's a clean title, clean car... Yes, the value would go down. If it's a project car (Rebuild, salvage title, etc), it won't really matter.

I like custom colored Type-Rs, they're unique. I'm just not so sure about doing a color change to a stock Type-R color. If you're going to do a color change, do something cool.

And do it right for God's sake, take out the windows, take out the interior, remove most of the accessories from the engine bay, tape everything off properly, and have a good job done.

NH-0 gets my vote. if the car was in good condition though and didn't need a paint job i'd say leave it and save your money.

99% of all DC2R's sell for under $20,000. Even if you lose "value", you wont be losing much, if any at all. Dont worry about, we do not own Ferrari's, Lamborghini's or any high end vehicle.
