Default Whats the best way to increase low end power?

I have a 99 Civic si with the B16A2. I already have a CAI and an exhaust. My car just seems like there isnt much power on the takeoff. It doesnt seem to have much torque. Are there any bolt ons or simple things to do to increase this, or is it not even worth the hassle. The top end pulls pretty hard, but im just curious. thanks

May depend on your exhaust.
I noticed when I switched from my greddy sp to a less free flowing rsx-s exhaust (same size piping) I gained low end but lost top end.
It's a give and take balance. IMO
d16y8 for me though.

As far as adding simple bolt ons, theres not much except nitrous, turbo or supercharger. Simple but expensive.

Yeaaa, a B16 doesn't really have much torque l0l.

It'll feel like a D-series until you crack VTEC.

Honda and torque dont go hand in hand. Just love your car for what it is. lol

Well, i was just wondering. The VTEC is a pretty cool deal. My last car was a 1988 CRX Si, with the stock D16, so i didnt have anything to do with VTEC. But I love the B16 and its pull in the high end, but i was just checking to see if i was missing something simple that would make a difference. Thanks guys

tq is hard to gain out of a b16 man. put in a gsr/itr bottom end!

Yeah with the bigger piping exhaust, you'll sacrifice some low end power.

100% true from my experience. I used to have unrestrictive (read "loud") exhaust until it drove me insane. I got a A*PEXi WS setup and noticed much better low and midrange response.

Easiest would be to get a 4.9FD or something like that. Your top end would be decreased, but it would definitely wind your RPM's up faster which = "less lag" down low. This would be the easiest and cheapest.

It's a B16. There's pretty much no low end, haha. They're made to have the **** revved out of them to make power, and up top.

Its a 1.6l what do you expect? More displacement will mean more torque basically like everyone is telling you to do.
