Asking for my cousin who bought a 92 EX with shaved sides. When I mean shaved, I mean completely flushed with the whole side. It's clean and done well, but he wants moldings on there and was wondering if he could buy those OEM moldings with tape on the back and just slap it on. But I was telling him it might lookg bad because isn't it concaved where the moldings go? So wouldn't it look 'popped out' if he put it over the shaved part?

Has anyone done this? Any advise?

 

i say get a da and dig out that bondo.

 

make sure its bondo because sometimes people weld a metal strip in its place. if it is bondo just do what ****** 1.6 and use a heat gun too! makes it easier. like this
