Default Electric Water Pump

I'm looking to free up some horespower on my car. I was thinking of gettign an electric water pump installed. Anyone got any info or opinions on the matter? thx guys and gals

Ya, you dont need to expletive with one unless your car is strictly a racecar.

a dry sump oilpump would be more effictive. still neither are really gona help that much.

on top of that if you even look at alot of the guys who do run in the s.c.c.a., don't even use these. the gains that they give are not worth the reliability that you loose.

Your auto tranny is sapping way more power from your engine than any water pump will ever take. Seeing how your car is mostly stock, you have MANY other things you can do for little bits of extra power before you try to mess with an electric water pump and all of its problems.

I would skip the TB spacer and the OBX products also

Well I'm looking into getting a tranny swap, but what else can I do to it?

As much as it would be cool to have a electric water pump the problem with them would be the fact that they need to be changed every 5 years (The electric motor not the water pump itself)
