ok plain and simple, spun bearing on the gsr motor. should i trade it for a ls engine with 86k!???? i told the guy ill think about it but i aint sure! should i sell the engine and get another motor myself! the other thing is what if his motor is messed up also! what if its stolen? help me out guys(and gilrls!)

 

do NOT trade, its worth to fix ur gsr motor, or sell urs and get something better but dont give ur gsr for an ls

well if you sell it is it gonna be complete swap or just motor no tranny, and problem is only the spun bearing right?? but dude id fix the bearing issue,not that hard and worth it in my opinion

yea but what if the bearing journals are fucked! that means machine time! also the crank might be warped! more machine time!

Take it to the shop and check to see what's damaged. From there on, you can decide on how much you want to sell it or rebuild it if you want (assuming there are easy and little to be fixed).
