I am putting my fully built turbo d16z6 into my 98 dx coupe and i know there are a few things that need to be done. I may be missing a few things though. I already have purchased a ecu conversion harness to run my chipped p28. I have also purchased the dizzy conversion harness. I am a little confused as to how i am going to run the throttle cable. Do you suggest using a wheel off a F22 IM or just getting a 98 EX throttle cable? axles i am almost sure are the same as well as motor mounts. Any input would help. I want to be prepared 100% for this swap. Thanks in advance.

 

come on. No one has ever put a d16z6 into a 98 chassis??

 

how much you get the motor for? or how much did it cost to build?

 

what difference does it make? i built the motor myself. it was out of my 93 ex (first car) i took it out built it and put maybe 14k miles on it and now i wanna put it in a cleaner shell. my 98 dx.

 

bump bump.. what do i have to do for the driver side mount? and can the dx throttle cable be used?

 

axels will work.. mount a little different. search for it... you pretty much got everything else i believe

 

i have searched.. i cant find anything. i cant believe that this is a uncommon swap. I don't see one post about anyone putting a z6 into a 98 DX.
