Question about date code on Honda engine parts
On most American engine parts there is a date code cast into parts. Does Honda do that so you can tell what year you actually have? If so, is there a way to de-code it?
Thanks,
Ron

yes Honda does do this. usually it is found on the head, right above the exhaust manifold.
it's been awhile since i've looked at mine, but i'm pretty sure a member can decipher it for you. if not, the search forum will be the next best thing.
