I can't say for sure but if it were me I'd just plug it in and see what happened but then again I'm not very patient. I've herd that it will work and that it won't but never actually done it. I know they can convert just about any ECU to do whatever you want! I had an ECU that was for an 8 valve non VTEC and I took it to a racing/tune shop and they made it run my JDM SOHC VTEC! Anything is possible.

It'll crank up and run, but will throw a code 19 for lock-up control for auto transmission.

The shift interlock doesn't tie in with the actual engine computer, but the ignition switch itself. for this very reason people who toss a 5-speed manual tranny in an auto car can't just run a 5-speed engine computer and get the car started - they have to fool the ignition switch into thinking the car is in park to start it.

If your car doesn't start it's not due to the auto ECU - there's something else going on there.

Trust me the ignition kill/automatic tranny having to be in park/neutral to start the car ties in with the ignition switch itself, and NOT the ECU.
