Default 99 gsr distributor on a 94 gsr?

Is this a good thing or a bad thing. I am currently running my 94 gsr with a 99 distributor and id like to know if this could be a cause for carbon out my exhaust or any other problem or if its a good thing. Any info would help. thanx

I ran my DA, OBDI converted, with a 2000 CR-V distributor for over a year and it never had any problems whatsoever.

yea it should be straight because both of the obd's fit they just have different plugs due to different engine harness..it should run with no problem
