Default h22 transmission with f22 4th and 5th?

First off, i don't know if this should belong here..

second, i know nothing about tranmissions, so teach me if need be.

But, i was wondering if its possible to do this for the fuel economy on the highway, since the h22 drinks gas from what i hear while being on the highway.

Yep, it's perfectly doable. From the transmissions I've opened up you can actually swap lots of gear sets between all sorts of Honda's.

H22's have what - M-something transmissions from the factory? bah anyways...

Basically you just need the gear sets for 4th and 5th from the Accord trans (mainshaft and countershaft gears and synchro set). You then go to a transmission shop and force them to do your bidding.

Really it's very simple to do that. GL!
