im a little confused on the setup in my new hatch??
can anyone tell me what the hp and stuff is in a stock d15z1??
it feels a little slow but it has a vtec valve cover???
and is it worth installing a turbo on it??

 

no dont boost a z1, it makes 92hp at the flywheel. it has VTEC-E the e stands for economy. it has a wideband oxygen sensor. and while cruising at low loads a/f ratio can go as lean as 24:1. this is a GAS MILEAGE MACHINE.

the intake ports are TEENY TINy, even compared to other hondas. it operates on 12 valves, 2 exhaust, 1 intake under 3000rpm, beyond that the second intake valve is engaged.

if you still have the VX trans you have the WORST transmission for performance, and the BEST upgrade would be an ex/si unit. or contact username BENSE and get a custom tranny/gearset made (thats what i did).
