Hi I just got a used Auto Meter Shift-Light Tachometer, (5"), *w/ ORG & BRN Calibration loops*. but didn't come with instruction... and I searched with nothing...

So my question is there is a ORG and BRN looped wire in the back of the gauge... which one should I CUT so I can get it working for my OBD1 GSR ???

also there is 4 other wires.
RED
Green
White
Black

which is which? Any info would be helpful.. I check with autometer web site and came up with this link BUT its not working so...

The link works fine for me:

4 CYL. - Clip BROWN and ORANGE wire loops. Insulate with electrical tape.

White = 12V dash lighting
Red = 12V ignition switch (+)
Black = ground
Green = tach signal
