2001 Accord (V6) EX

Hey guys. I was in a hurry and accidently turned off the car while it was in drive and tried to pull the key out. Once I realized what I did, I started the car, put it in park, and then switched the car off. Tried to pull the key out, and it would not come out. I just saw the green key light blinking on the gauge cluster.

So I left it in (the car was off but I kept the window half down), went inside the shop, paid for my things in a hurry and drove home. The Car will start, but whenever I park the car, turn it off, and try to take the key out, it won't let me. Just makes that key light blink.

How do I get my key out?

I've had that happen to me once before - it finally came out after fiddling with the steering wheel. (Turning it from side to side)

 

try moving the shifter around while its in park.
