Why not just spend the money now for a nice set of real coilovers?

Gc's are highly favored, but won't they blow out you're stock struts right away? Omni Power advertises a softer spring rate to be used with stock struts so this doesn't happen.

you crazy 07 members.
GC's won't blow your shocks unless you slam the coils all the way down....do the smart thing and wait to get some koni yellows or even tokico illuminas or if you are dirt poor then some KYBs.

To go with what everyone else mentioned wait till you can afford shocks cause you'll end up spending more money in the end.

If you get the coilover sleeves then your going to install it. So your going to spend some time on that, and afterwards your going to have to get an alignment. Then when you finally purchase the shocks. You going to have to disassemble the old setup and put the shocks on along with everything else. And of course your going to have to get another alignment.

So not only did you send more time on the car you'll have to get an extra alignment thus spending more money. Not to mention your ride quality will not be the best in the mean time.

The answer is none. They will all blow out stock shocks. Doesn't matter if you have "softer" spring rates, because they will still be stiffer than stock springs, and the combination of stiffer springs and the shocks being compressed more than the factory intended will blow them out.

I waited 8 months until I had enough saved up for Koni shocks before I did anything suspension-wise to my car. I suggest you do the same.

And its not like your going to see the suspension anyway when its on the car Unless of course your trying to raise the car and have monster truck wheel gap.

I've personally have had F2 on my DD Integra and they have performed great.

On my Si that I drive now, it has Koni Yellows.

I went with the F2 suspension for track purposes. (Mostly Drag, strip never street)

I think it's up to the OP what he/she wants to do.

Oh I forgot...... This is HT

i say you listen to patrick gsr. ive been waiting 4 months for my new coilovers and illuminas because im a high schol student who works a part time job. id rather wait to be able to afford them than to blow $275 on some coilovers and then blow my struts. your car will handle like complete ***** if you dont get good struts with your coilovers.

don't put lowering springs on stock shocks. its gonna ride like ****.

save up a little extra money and do the gc/koni yellow combo or get some actual coilovers. if you haggle they can be had for cheap. i got a hell of a deal from drflickner on here for my ksport coilovers, been rocking them for about 2 years and had great luck with them.

the purpose of doing it correctly is that in a DD you want comfort right? no one wants an uncomforatable ride every day to work, school... ect.

the factory struts are not meant to handle the load that you put on them if you put lowering springs on your car. they will blow out and all of a sudden you are riding on the bump stops and bouncing around like your driving on a trampoline. a good sleeve strut combo is where its at.
