Default Cruise control

For all of those that have upgraded to a Type R steering wheel...

How do you mount the cruise control switches? From the photos I have seen the block off plate is on the left side of the wheel versus the right side here, so you would have to mount the buttons upside down. Did you do this or just remove all the cruise control switches all together? I never use the cruise so removing it would not be a problem for me, but I was just curious. What did you guys do? Just find a wheel from a LHD Type R? Pics would be great.

ITR's don't have Cruise control at all. My ITR wheel is clean all the way around it and doesn't have a cutout on either side. I just don't have a functioning cruise control now, which I don't care, b/c I'm replacing it with an ITR push start button for Christmas

ITR push start? Out of the current Type R Civic? I didn't think the DC5R had one. Any pics? How does it replace the cruise?

If using a Type R wheel, with no cruise, what all can be removed for the cruise control?

go to http://www.jdmland.com and look under Integra Dc5, Look at the picture on the link and you'll see. I just left my cruise control alone and just tucked the plug away behind the airbag assembly. I don't plan to take it out completely, so I can simply hook it up if I ever sell my car.

I don't really mind removing cruise. Anyone know what to remove?

It's basically pointless to. More of a hassle than anything. Might save you two pounds. Just tuck the plugs out of the way.
